METHODOLOGY

Immersion Programmes are experiential and utilise group initiatives, ropes courses and other adventure activities. Experiential, hands-on, sequential and progressive activities make the learning vivid, powerful and relevant in ways no textbook or lecture can.

Although experiential, programmes are designed in such a way that everybody can participate, irrespective of ability - blending indoor, outdoor, mental and physical challenges. Success depends not only on individual strength, but also on creativity, tenacity, strategic planning and the allocation of resources found within the group.

Process analysis/debriefs after activities helps to clearly reveal the essentials of both problems and potential solutions.

Our “experiential classroom” is used as:

A neutral environment for development - free of cultural trappings that can
   hinder honest communication.

A novel and engaging arena which allows team members to shed their usual
roles and relationships and test new, more effective ways of interacting.

A stage for challenging activities that impel learning through shared
   experiences.

Experience is a powerful teacher!

“Everybody experiences far
more than he understands.
Yet it is experience,
rather than understanding
that influences behaviour.”
– McLuhan
